ABOUT GHANA BAPTIST HEALTH SERVICES

The Ghana Baptist Health Services (GBHS) of the Ghana Baptist Convention, is the Coordinating Unit for all Baptist Hospitals under the Christian Health Association of Ghana (CHAG) Network. Rev. Stephen Kwaku Fokuoh has served as the first Director of the Ghana Baptist Health Services. Currently, there are seven (7) functional Facilities operating across the Country in three regions: North-East Region (One (1) Facility), Ashanti Region (five (5) Facilities) and Western Region (One (1) Facility).

Achievements

Baptist Medical Centre, Nalerigu:

  • Achieved remarkable milestones during the COVID-19 period in 2020, receiving recognition and honors for outstanding dedication.
  • The Medical Director of BMC-Nalerigu was awarded a grand medal by the President of Ghana, and 50 staff members received certificates from the Regional Director of Health Services for their commitment.
  • Reached Level 4 in the SafeCare ranking assessment, an internationally recognized healthcare program.
  • Stood out as the top-performing center for peer review in the North East region, establishing itself as a premier healthcare provider and a symbol of excellence.
